    10/22 scope combo question

Hey all - so I'm picking up a 10/22 very soon in some configuration. Looking at the factory combo with scope here ...

    Glocks

G19 - best of all things - good size to hold onto, yet concealable, high capacity and affordable to shoot. Reliable as anything, not that that sets it apart from other Glocks.

VA to FL CCW in car

Thanks for the posts and the link. SC and GA both seem okay for car console carry based on this document, but the wording of GA sure is a little more tricky, at least to my non legal mind. http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/USRVCarCarry.pdf

VA to FL CCW in car

I'm taking the family to Disney in March. Trying to find info about carrying, particularly in the car, through SC and GA. I know that NC and FL have reciprocity with VA (I'm a VA permit holder). Looked for some info on the web like on usacarry.com, but didn't readily find what I needed...

    Second handgun choices

If you are thinking about something on the compact side and the 239 is on your list, that seems like a logical choice. It also comes in 9mm, which is cheaper to shoot. I don't own one, but lots of folks love the 239 for carry.

    Budget Firearms?

Given your wife's restrictions and your budget, go for a used Ruger, S&W, or Taurus revolver in .357 so you can also plink with .38. Might be a little more than $150, but money well spent and properly cared for, will last you a long, long time.

NIB Glock 17/19/21 for $475, is this a good price?

That's about right for a show price here in VA. Shops are a little more.

    9mm Pistol reccomendations...

Glock 19, Beretta 92FS....Really you have to see what fits well for you. For me the ergonomics of the 92FS are perfect. In 9mm, you can find just about anything your heart desires.

    9mm for range

USP9, Glock 17, P226, and throw in the Beretta 92FS as mentioned. All are top quality 9's and can be as accurate as the person pulling the trigger can be. Got with what feels best. For me, the ergonomics of the 92FS are perfect. If you like them all, you'll end up getting more than one...

    Video, Robber Shot by Clerck

Ha! With those flashes, looks like they are shooting that skeet arcade game. Where do you think he's dragging the "body" off to?

I don't have a Colt, but my Springfield GI has been flawless out of the box.

    Pre-ban Glock?

That is hilarious. How can there not be someone...co-worker...experienced customer...someone who can correct this guy? Too funny.

Why people should stop whining about high show prices ...

"guess who sells brand x when one table has it for $389 and the next table has it for $359" A friend of mine and I always talk about this. I know some will play a little more for a nicer seller and for someone who they think will stand behind their product, but by and large people go for the...

One handgun and one long gun for self defense and reliabilty.

SAR-1 and Beretta 92FS. Both have never failed me. Both have a high capacity and pretty readily available ammo.
