Revolver .357 Magnum caliber: S&W Model 686 Auto: 1911 Commander size in .45 ACP

I would have to say my S&W Model 19-4 with target grips. Second runner up a tie S&W Model 27 and Ruger SP101 3 inch barrel. I like .357 magnums.

I had one for many years and found the same issues. Mine went bang every time and was accurate, but not something you wanted to spend a lot of range time on. I carried mine in a Remorsa holster in my coat pocket in the winter mainly. I traded mine in on a SIG365.

My daughters fiance had a G48 and didn't liked the way it felt when he carried and he traded for a G43X and a G26. Right now he is hooked on the 26, loves it. He said the 48 just never felt right. To each his own...

The model 36 is a fine piece to carry, you might also consider the model 642 or 637 as well. If you can get a Colt Detective Special you will pick up an extra round as they are 6 shooters. I also suggest you consider the Mika pocket holster for these revolvers, it is the best one I have found...

Kel-Tec P32 with hard chrome slide most of the time in a DeSantis holster. Other times Taurus TCP with hard chrome slide in Mika pocket holster. S&W 642 or Colt Det. Spec in Mika pocket holster if I am feeling like going with a bigger caliber. Mika pocket holsters are the best I have found!

Mine has factory Colt rubber grips on it. Frankly I like the wood grips you have better.
