Yeah i thought about doing that but didn't want to mess up so the washers are doing their job. I think I might have got a early run the stock it's dated November of 2013. The stock is really nice and I like the finish, look and feel of it.
Savage is coming out with the Axis II which now includes the accutrigger. But I really like my Timney I have on my Axis .308 but I don't mind my accutrigger either on my Model 10 FCP-K .308 either.
I have the FCP-K. I use Fed Gold Medal Brass, 175 gr Barnes Match Burner, CCI large rifle primer, and 42 gr of Reloader 15. I get 0.465 inches at 100 yards with it. Tack driver!
Ordered my stock! I got the classic in pepper. Will post some photos when I get it. Also Savage is coming out with the Axis II that now has the accutrigger....took them long enough! Either way I have to say I like how my Timney trigger feels compared to the accutrigger on my Model 10 FCP-K .308.
Thanks for the info. I already get MOA groups out of it with my handloads and current setup which is a EGW 20moa rail, Warne rings, and a Redfield Revenge 4-14x42. I've just been waiting for someone to make a stiffer stock and Boyd's did it. It'll probably really tighten up my groups now. Hope...
