Check your game laws esp. if this is public land. Around here possession of a longarm on public land this time of year might be construed as hunting out of season. I think we are limited to 22 handguns with barrels 6 inches or less. Unless the likelihood of encountering a rabid meth-head...

That's an excellent report drjhigg. It looks like you have enough variables to deal with already but do you plan to try any cast bullets? I wish you well with the project. This may be a rifle with good performance characteristics but due to the problems associated with ammo it's true...
