They're transitioning to thier new Sand color, which they say is much stronger polymer.
I think most of their stuff will be sand from now on, they've even made videos about how easy it is to dye and paint it.
Grab a can of aervoe and you're gold
Personally I'd rather have a pcr ode on a rami frame...
The short barrel does nothing...it's the lart already beneath your pants. Why not just carry the pcr?
so a few months ago I decided, after having my carbine all squared away, that i should totally try out variable scopes and swap out the aimpoint, and picked up one of the new SWFA 1-4s that came out around black friday.
i mounted it and took it to the range and made sure i was around 2 inches...
Easier quick detach I suppose.
What's your general use of the rifle?
If it's a heavier caliber is say 2 seperate rings from badger or similar. Do you run BUIS?
If you have a plinker/comp gun with a 1x4 then a qd one peice is what I'd run.
Honestly a ban on guns like ARs and AKs is a reason to hold on to them, not sell them. If that time comes and you still want to part with it ppl would probably be willing to spend quite a bit more for it.
For a bomb proof, no frills chest rig, I'd suggest the SOE Micro rig, holds ak and ar mags and can be had for around 100 bucks.
If you want something fancier or cooler, the Haley d3 rig is nice.

I've been avoiding it because it's ridiculously overpriced, at least their 9 and 556.
They so advertise military loads and claim perfect 100 yard match accuracy....on the 9 mil boxes.
They're often overstocked at the walmarts I see it when everything else is gone.
I figured they tried to get...
The screws are good and the ejector was seated properly.
I'm thinking the most obvious culprit is my issue.
I spotted a small spot of something when shining my flashlight down the action. It's gotta be rust or some sort of fouling/buildup.
I don't have a 30 cal chamber brush so looks...
So I picked up a fairly beat up 30-30 in trade awhile back.
I've been going through a bit of a saga trying to sight it in ( requiring different front sight posts and so on), but I've noticed something peculiar.
It cycles we'll enough during dry fire. Sure getting the bolt over the hammer...
Spray paint the crap out of it.
Check out Cory and Erika's range time channel on YouTube, they posted a good how to video on this very subject. It's easy, just make sure to stuff the barrel, keep an empty mag in, and tape up your sights first
