    thanks for the info Jim, I have heard alot about crimped primers but wasn't sure of their purpose.

    hi everyone newbie to your forum! Have been member at another one but just stumbled onto yours. My question is about crimped primer are they all they are made out to be (good) in an ar style rifle? or does it really matter? And what exactly is a crimped in primer?
