I'm in the market for a new and rugged all purpose 38/357 4" revolverl. I'm not considering S&W because off the internal locks.
What S&W frame size would the GP100 compare too? K or L frame?
How are the GP100 triggers compared to S&Ws?
Are fancy wood replacement grips available to...
I remember it having a distinctive square trigger guard, but not totally squared, just a little bit then it rounds off.
What is Tarantino's penchant for Star Model B's?
Paco,
Get a 5906 TSW. It's like an improved 5906 in terms of construction, quality and accuracy. Plus it is tactical. Though I don't like the equipment rail.
If you want the ultimate 5906 get the S&W PPC9. Read it's even more accurate than the beautiful 952. Available to L/E only. PPC9...
What's the proper way to clean with brass jag? Those things are to be used with patches right? If you push it through from the chamber end, you're going to have to pull it back anyway, isn't it almost always at one point or another going to touch the crown?
What's a quick and easy way to clean using FP-10? Could I just bathe the gun in it and scrub down all surfaces with a nylon brush then wipe off the grime and excess oils with a paper towel? Then use some cleaning patches in the nooks and crannies?
On the surfaces which were touched by FP-10...
GooseGestapo:
Which would you rate in order of most accurate 9mm?
SIG P210
S&W PC952
S&W PPC9
S&W PC5906
Are the PPC9 and PC5906 idential in every way besides the barrel length?
I've read very little about the PPC9 but it seems like it's more accurate than the 952 and only...
Speaking of blowing things up. Would a 9mm have enough oomph to blow up melons? Using JHPs would best for doing that right?
Just trying to figure out if I should get a 357 SIG anyway, even if it can't blow up bowling pins, but maybe it can blow up fruits and water filled containers.
But if...
Can a 357 SIG make a bowling pin explode?
Hollow point or some other particular 357 SIG loading?
Or no handgun caliber, including the 44 Magnum could make a bowling pin explode?
I took a look at some other TSW pistols at the gunshops and they all have this carved look around the trigger guard. Ironically, the value line of pistols didn't.
The ones I examined were of stainless steel though, maybe the value line and the TSW with aluminum framed pistols are different...
I noticed that the front strap of the trigger guard towards the edges and the middle finger area of the bend where the underside of the trigger guard and grip meets seem to be hand carved?
What I mean is that it doesn't seem to be milled smoothly and symmetric. It seems almost like it was done...
