I have tritium night sights on my carry .45 and I think they make a huge difference. I have a Sig 226 and a 1911 full size without them, and even at the range I have to take more time to aim.

Soybomb, that helps a lot. I've been given guns by family members growing up and never needed fill out any forms or go through a FFL. I've never given/sold a gun to anyone, so this is new to me. This seems harder than it should be.

I have the Ultra CDP, and would say the same thing. The reason being is that it is small enough to conceal, but very easy to knock down a target accurately at 25-yards. My scandium j-frame is small and easy to conceal, but worthless (for me anyways) at over 7 yards.
