I've often wondered if 800x will meter better in a larger diameter metering system - ie the rifle barrel for the hornady powder dispenser.
Anyone want to try? I would, however time is limited.
Replace the white primer follower-weight with the same size steel dowel. The additional weight will ensure your primers are landing where they're supposed to and not causing a hangup.
If you're using 2400 for .357 mag, I've noticed it seriously reduces leading in a 6in barrel, especially when loading some pretty hot loads. I've pushed up to 1300fps on a 160gr boolit with minimal (trace) leading.
It seems like to go-to powder for solid 357 loads.
