    Case Prep Center Recommendation

So, I'm in the market for a case prep center. After researching on this forum, it seems that people like the Lyman and the Frankford Arsenal. I'm looking for recommendations. I like that the FA has a built in trimmer. I already have the Lyman Universal case trimmer with the power drill adapter...

    50 gr V-max long range

Midsouth has the Hornady 75gr BTHP match for $15.96/100. The 53gr V-Max is $15.60/100.

Chronograph that hooks into your cell phone.

Toprudder: I own the ProChrono. I have been using a Christmas Light extendable pole with a pencil taped to the end (eraser side out) as a remote. So, I was going to buy either the remote for it or the digital interface. But, now I think I'll just get the Caldwell. It's the same as the ProChrono...

    50 gr V-max long range

I'm going to try the Hornady 75gr BTHP. I have Reloader15 and Varget and some pull down wc844. I'm going to load some up of each and let you know how they group.

Chronograph that hooks into your cell phone.

Does anyone have any experience with this chronograph? I was out on the internet searching for a remote for my ProChrono Digital and found this for the same price. So, now I am in a pickle. I can buy a remote for my old chronograph or for the same price get a whole new chronograph that hooks to...

    50 gr V-max long range

So, I just ordered a bunch of the Hornady 75gr BTHP, they were practically the same price as the 53 grain V-Max. So, I'll give them a try over some Reloader15 & Varget.

How do you keep keep track of high volume rifle brass?

RC: Can you explain what you are doing with the wire feeler in a bit more detail. I haven't heard of it before.

    50 gr V-max long range

I'm having a problem with my 50gr v-max at anything over 250 yards in .223. I'm loading it over 26gr of Varget. Seems the wind plays havoc with that light bullet. Anyone have any long range experience with these lighter bullets? I was using a 1/8 twist, 18", stainless free float barrel.

    What's Blue Dot good for?

I've used it for 165 gr JHP in 10mm. Alliant has max 11.5 gr 1273 FPS Lyman 49th has max 10.2 for 1230 FPS In my Glock 20 I haven't been able to do better than 1163.

    longshot in 4o s&w

I can't believe I was just thinking about this load and this thread popped up. I carry 165 Remington Golden Sabers in my Glock 23 as my personal defense load. I am working up a load to replicate the 165 Golden Saber in terms of recoil and accuracy for practice. I believe they produce around...

.40/10mm Hornady sizing die cutting brass

That works also. The Glock chamber is pretty generous, so I don't really need to size that far down.

.40/10mm Hornady sizing die cutting brass

Ran about 10 through the bulge buster first and they came out fine. Though, I can't understand how a bulge in the case causes an indented line at the case head. But, that seems to be exactly what it's doing.

.40/10mm Hornady sizing die cutting brass

I have the Lee Bulge Buster, these rounds didn't look that badly bulged so I just went for it with the sizing die. Non-bulged cases are still looking a little "scrapped" if that makes sense (kinda like the one on the far right). My plan is to run some un-fired through tonight along with some...

.40/10mm Hornady sizing die cutting brass

Anyone ever had this problem or know the cause. It's one fired brass from Armscor fired from a Glock 20sf. The Hornady sizing die is putting a sharp ridge right at the case head. The ridge goes about 3/4 of the way around.

Anyone Use ProChrono - Whicyh Chronograph to Buy?

I bought my ProChrono Digital because of the recommendations I received on this Forum. I love it. It's simple to use, never fails to record a shot, even when firing fairly rapidly. I have an expandable Christmas light pole and I tape a pencil to it. I use it to hit the "next string" button...
