Interested on opinions of using full length rifle dies or neck only.

This: https://www.redding-reloading.com/online-catalog/118-type-s-bushing-dies Or this: https://www.forsterproducts.com/product-category/case-sizing-lubricating/case-resizing/bushing-bump-neck-bench-rest-sizing-dies/ Both bump the shoulder back the desired amount and precisely tension the...

    Bullet seating problems

In addition to what everyone else has said, bullets can vary several thousands if measured from the tip to the base. Get a bullet comparator and measure from the ogive. You can also use a bullet pointer for better BC and more consistent length. Whidden makes a good one. I point all my match...

    It was a twofer!

Nice! Lucky you. You are going to love the performance of the 6.5 Creedmoor. And, this comes from someone who has been shooting 308 Win (and still does) for 3 decades.

Feeling kinda left out of these new whiz-bang discussions?

With a suppressor, there is no flash, and little noise. With the right bullet, penetration can be controlled as well. It is not the only choice, but a good one IMO.

Feeling kinda left out of these new whiz-bang discussions?

My choice for hitting deer way out there is still my trusty old custom 7mm Rem Mag. I hunt in places that if you get a shot at a good deer at 500 yards and under, you better take it. So, you, your rifle, and your ammo have to be capable of ethical shots at that distance. But for a PRS...

Larue OBR 7.62 Up and Running

I am running an AAC MK-13. Runs great. Very little blowback with port selector in the suppresses position.

Larue OBR 7.62 Up and Running

I have wanted one of these rifles for over a decade. Even had one on order, twice. Always chickened out and canceled. Not this time. I broke the barrel in today using the Troy iron sights. Had some help from a buddy with better eyes than me. No functioning issues with several different kinds...

Leupold Mark 4 Long Range $699

I am going to look into that as well. It would be a perfect scope if the turrets were .1 mil clicks. How long ago did you do it? Cost? Thanks.

Leupold Freedom vs Rifleman vs VX3i

Likely? Probably not. Possible? Yes, a scope that won't track properly or hold zero is worthless. There is also the issue of the quality of glass. Clarity at high magnification and light transmission. Can you really see clearly enough to determine if the buck is legal, or the one you're after? I...

    AR mount

Yes, and there are several YouTube videos out there on how to do it right and the proper tools to use. Removing the A frame sight means replacing the gas block. Again, pretty easy with a proper bench block and the right punches.

Aimpoint CompM5: Factory QD Mount or Aftermarket?

I think the CompM5 factory mount is fine. Solid. So was the mount on the CompM4. You just had that big nob sticking out. The CompM5 fixes that. I have two M4's and prefer the CompM4S with the low battery mount. They are great optics.

Leupold Mark 4 Long Range $699

Leupold Mark 4 Long Range Tactical M1 Rifle Scope 30mm Tube 4.5-14x 50mm Side Focus Matte Midway has this scope on sale for $699. I had this exact scope about 15 years ago. It is a great piece of glass with an excellent reticule but has some issues. - Second focal plane - Mismatched units on...

Local Gun Show wasn't too busy.

What is the death rate again? And I don't mean the elderly that are dying from multiple morbidities.
