Leupold Mark 4 Long Range Tactical M1 Rifle Scope 30mm Tube 4.5-14x 50mm Side Focus Matte

Midway has this scope on sale for $699. I had this exact scope about 15 years ago. It is a great piece of glass with an excellent reticule but has some issues.

- Second focal plane
- Mismatched units on turrets and reticule.

For me, I can set up my Kestrel to output whatever units I want. It would be MOA for elevation and Mils for windage. I dial elevation but don't dial windage, I use reticule hold.

For those who have no idea what that means, just get one. You can't beat the price for the quality. I sold my old tactical 308 Win with the scope on it a few years back. I miss them both.

Agreed, I made the MOA/MIL mistake once with an older Leupold, will NEVER happen again!

I finally had enough of it to send the scope in to get the turrets changed. There's just too many options available with the adjustments and reticle synched....

I have this scope but it's MOA with duplex reticle. It road atop my FN SPR for 6,000 rounds of .308 with nary a problem.

Currently doesn't have a home. I need to sell it before it causes me to buy something to stick underneath it

I am going to look into that as well. It would be a perfect scope if the turrets were .1 mil clicks.

$210 and it was about 3 weeks, round trip. Problem is now though I think their custom shop still isn't taking new orders. I was planning on having a custom 2.5-8x36 done and have been waiting a long while for them to open back up.

I bought two of these used last year, and was quite happy with them. both were sold to friends, but id have been just as happy to keep them.
