This one is a non takedown 7mm mag.

For us lefties, it's a great option. A levergun that locks up just like a bolt action. Quick follow up shots in an easy carrying package. AND...variety is the spice of life.

Old thread, but I figured I would add to it instead of starting a new one. Here's my takedown in 300 WSM.

My latest SIG pistol. It's a P220 Elite Carry Dark. Shown with my P226 for comparison. P220's are the only 45's that I like besides a 1911.

I've had a black one for years, but these are from a limited run of some sort, with the red scales. Very useful knives. More than many people would think. I use them for EDC, and I've even skinned a deer with one.

A smith put the mounts and rings on it. I believe they are Talley medium.

I think this one is 7 3/4 pounds without scope, mounts and rings. I use to have a BLR in .257 Roberts and it was right at 7 lbs or a hair under.

The box removable mags allow pointed bullets, and the bolt locks up front, on the barrel. So its basically a bolt action in a lever rifle. I like these scopes a lot too. I guess I should, I've got them on 4 of my rifles.

The short throw lever makes it very fast for a follow up shot.

It kicks, but nothing bad at all. I like the flat shooting 7mm for open country and clear cut hunting. The BLR action is very strong. It locks up just like a bolt action rifle. With "cheap" Remington 150gr ammo, it shoots great.
