so, i was cleaniing out my uncle's ammo/gun room the other day [he passed away in november]....i was so excited about the ammo i was finding...over 5k in 22lr alone.... i didn't treally give this mich of a lookover when i first found it....in fact i assumed it was a starter pistol or flare gun or something of the like....found it again yesterday, and realized its a single shot .45/.410 derringer. i've had a few guns that had dubious justifications for existance, but for the life of me can't see this having much of a practical purpose in life, aside from maybe killing the occasional rattlesnake in the yard.....its by far the crudest of firearms in my collection LOL
