For the last decade I've never had a place that I didn't plan on moving away from. Last year I bought my first home, got married, and added my new bride and two step-sons to my home. After all that was taken care of, it was time for a bench. A real one. after 10 years of reloading with my press clamped to black and Decker folding work table, I finally designed and built my own bench. And here it is! Ran a few 9mm on it tonight and it is such a huge improvement. Life is good! 20170930_191312.jpg

Looks great. I’m jealous. I have the same press. I sound like 2nd grade writing class.

looks good , I enjoy spending time on my bench , feels good to have your own spot :)

thanks guys! ive really been enjoying it. it's pretty solid. only way i think i could make it better is to bolt it to the wall

What's the deal with that 4895 container? I never saw one like that before.

like ArchAngelCD said, its old lol. buddy of mine bought all the reloading supplies from a widow whos late husband had a lot of equipment. my buddy gave me a few things he didnt need which included this can of powder. i lucked out because it was mostly full and still looks/smells fresh.

Looks great! Glad you've got a "place" to call your loading area. Last time my bench was that organized...was the day before I started loading.

Everything is nice and neat and sturdy. I think I am jealous it is so clean. Good job of putting it together. Just show a picture about a year from now, It may look like mine with stuff organized in my mind only. Just ask my wife who likes things dusted, organized, and squeaky clean. I put stuff back every so often. Mine is 7 foot long, and more room for clutter.

im the same way. I limited myself to 4ft long, partly due to space limitations, and also to force myself to not allow as much clutter. i know my habits though...i will slowly let it get more and more messy and eventually clean it all up. and the cycle will repeat itself. my own little brand of controlled chaos lol.

very nice!

The bench looks great JEB.
Mine looks like someone emptied a few junk draws on it :notworthy:

Very nice, congrats! Taking bets on how soon you outgrow it though? Reloading stuff tends to grow and spread out.....

Very nice, yes if you can attach to the wall. If that is drywall, find a stud and lag bolt or even very large screws will add even more rigidity.
You need to mess it it up some now,:)
