Today, Callum is probably the second most famous UK gun rights activist who had his firearms confiscated after Phillip A. Luty. Luty was grinded by the system after he set to prove that gun bans don’t work as anyone can make a firearm with parts and tools available in any hobby shop. Callum, meanwhile, faced the music for proclaiming that victims of Paris terror attacks would have had a chance to survive if French laws had not banned carrying and in essence also use of firearms for self-defense. In exclusive interview with zbrojnice.com, Callum talks about his case as well as other issues that Brits face when it comes to idea of defending self against crime.

The only thing one can do is pray they don't happen to be in wrong place at wrong time. In long run when it comes to terror attacks the English might be better off (fever incidents) then some of the other countries in Europe because there is political representation for Muslims and it's growing. For example, the mayor of London is a Muslim. Political representation is very important in Democratic system and unity of purpose is key to future success.

UK gun laws have no analogue to the United States, so while this is interesting in seeing how far a society will go where the right to own firearms is granted by the government rather than being a right possessed by the people, it is of little relevance on this side of the pond.

The systematic dismantling of the second amendment is one of the most important issue facing our nation, and this is the egregious oppression we can expect if we allow it to be taken from us.

Though most of us are proud Americans there are many esteemed members from foreign nations which also contain citizens enamored of firearms.

I think its worthy of consideration in any case but certainly it's relevant to some of those folks, and I got the sense you didn't think something relevant to the other side of the pond was worth discussing on these boards. I like having the international crowd so let's try to make them feel welcome :)

I live in NJ it can happen.Trust me:(:(:(

I just drove round trip to Flushing NY using NJ Turnpike. Nice ride without anyone paying me attention. The only thing odd was no idling rule with $250 fine. Odd because it would seem hard to enforce. Flushing was ok except jets coming in low for landing take some time getting used to.
Nice upside was presence of pay phones...

My advice to Eastern Europeans was to learn Russian because their soldiers like to hear their language spoken by local population. Now my advise is to teach kids Koran as that knowledge may assure their survival into old age.

I'll just teach my kids the Constitution, basic marksmanship skills, and a work ethic.

I fear its the young minds of this generation that's are getting lost faster than gunrights…..and that's most of the problem.

I think were headed for Socialisim faster than most want to admit.

This is way off topic. Does every thread have to go to the Socialists are coming, even when the OP is specific?

You can get a penalty for off topic posts. That’s a hint for the future.
