I recently bought a pioneer model 26 .22 rifle for 20 bucks because it was missing the bolt. Well got home and found the bolts ae 70-120 each. Ordered a savage model 5b bolt on gunbroker and it doesnt go in all the way. May just be some fitting issues but anyone know the history of these rifles? Specifically the pioneer gamble aspect? Anyone know if I goofed and ordered the wrong bolt?

The bolt is in the right position I believe I did rotate it.
Ya, it looks correct.

Ive run into situations with store-brand Mossbergs where the cheaper variant is ALMOST, but not quite the same as the corresponding name-brand model- even into where the bolt/ firing pin have slight differences.

Probably need a gunsmith to look at it and determine if that bolt can be modified to fit or if its a strikeout.
Good luck!

If you have a good dial caliper, you can check some of the critical dimensions to compare where things are on the receiver and bolt. Just by eyeballing your photos it doesn't appear you are all that far off.

If there are parts you feel comfortable removing, you might try seeing whether the 'naked-ist' version of the bolt and receiver will come closer to fitting together.
