These are numbered knives. Lovely ergos. Beautiful grind. Carries great.
That light spot on the titanium in the first pic is a smudge on my phone's camera lense, not an imperfection in the finish.

Yeah. I’m kind of in the same boat. Layaway.Funny, I was just looking at these a few weeks ago.
I’d really want that same model. But I really went ape on Black Friday and drained my future bank account.
Yeah. I’m kind of in the same boat. Layaway.
Oh the EVO is in my hands. I mean I put another knife on layaway. And still have others on preorder. Please post more pics and info when you get it in your hands!

That little bump is a detent ball. There is a corresponding divot in the blade that it pops into when the knife is closed ,and that provides just enough resistance to keep it from opening in your pocket. They usually just make a bit of a "speed bump" in the rotation of the blade, maybe yours will smooth up with a little use.Three new knives came in today. All from Knifecenter. Took advantage of free two day shipping.
On the left Steel Will Plague Doctor, middle MKM Bob Terzuola Clap Flipper and right is CRKT Trask Deadbolt.
The Deadbolt locking works well. You push the pivot point inward to unlock. I like it. The MKM has a single attachment for the clip. The clip moves a bit already. It isn’t smooth on opening. Gritty. I will oil it or take it apart. The Steel Will is bigger than I thought it would be. All are shaving sharp.

Found the source of the grittiness. It’s a little nub on the liner lock the rubs when opening and closing. Not sure it’s purpose.
