My favorite of the Swiss P210 variants and the price was right, so I grabbed another one. Vintage is mid 1990's and in mint condition.

While I don't love actually shooting the Swiss models due to hammer and sometimes slide bite, I do love the old world craftsmanship. They are a work of art.

Here it is with my 1975 -6 Heavy Frame on the left and 1967 -6 on the right.

I have my German and American models for shooting....

Very nice!

Do the current ones compare well against the older ones? I don't know much about them, but IIRC the new ones are a rather different design and so don't seem to really be the same thing in my mind which made me want to hold out for a nice older one.

I prefer the shoot the current American model, because it doesn't bite me. Are they the same quality? Hell no, but they shoot very well.

Yes the design is a bit simplified to cut down manufacturing costs, but they design change isn't going to affect performance by itself. My favorite P210s are the German Super Targets, but they are a lot of money and no longer made.

As for the Swiss P210, its the only true SIG handgun.

WOW :what:. A fantastic set of Swiss P-210’s you have there, sir!

I can honestly say I have never shot a P-210. They aren’t common here in Ca and getting my hands on one would be a tough thing to do. :(

Congratulations on finding another beauty to add to your stable. :)

Stay safe.
