Couldn’t agree more. I like a LW Commander myself, but there’s just something very comforting about a 1911 on your hip.

Now in summer G43x,fall/winter G30SF.G27,G29 or G26.Rotate out just because.But my G43x is most carried.

Eastern Colorado is generally a very dry climate. I can usually get away with all cotton clothing. I wear Wrangler cargo pants, a t-shirt and a cotton camp shirt all year round. So what I carry doesn't change.

I went out and bought a bunch of the new OCP t-shirts for hiking that are supposed to be "Tech Wear" but I didn't notice any difference between them and my cotton t-shirts.

When I did security I always had to wear a nasty polyester uniform shirt and it was hotter than the hinges on the gates of hell. I learned very early on to cut the sleeves off all of my t-shirts so that I could vent heat out of my arm pits.

When it gets cold I wear a flannel shirt with fleece vest over it

Here's my 'Fall Carry' ensemble....actually, it's my spring summer & winter choice as well....big or little, auto or revolver, they go on the right hip at ~3:30 position. Rod

Fall came in. Only made it to 102F today and now, at 9pm the temp is down to 89F.

Open Carry day so the Walther PPS M2 in a 1791 Thumb Break holster.

I'll be able to bring out the Bulldog soon. Those bullets are so nice and fat.

I typically don’t let weather change my carry options over whim. Bigger guns are heavier and therefore challenging to my back, and once I solved the whole “searing back pain” every night I don’t want to go back.

That said I recently got this nice Sig RCS, so I’ve been carrying it and shooting 1911s a lot more.

Only got to like 93 in my part of the northwoods.

Supposed to take a nose dive this week back to late summer/fall temps.

"Fall" as in Autumn, or "Fall" as in the collapse of civilization? Just asking - carry is the same, CZ P-10C.

All my carry options are 1911s.

I don't change my carry weapon with the seasons. I carry the same weapon the same way every day of the year. Just makes life so much easier to draw and fire without having to remember which one I put on that day...

Still the Walther PPS M2 but today with a different 1791 holster; one of their 4Way with the IWB spring clip removed.



It rides nice and tight with the grip tucked in.

Sadly, nothing. Since I work in a research lab, I might as well not carry when I go to school (even though I can definitely conceal carry).

I did go to the range today but left almost immediately. Just while mounting the target and setting up today's firearms ( I wanted to compare the Shield 2.0 and Walther PPS) I got flagged by two separate parties on the line and a third group had non-shooters behind the line fiddling with handguns.

I decided to wait for another day and just left. On the way out the owner said "I see it. I'll take care of it." but by then I was pretty sure today was just not my day.

Since I just put this on layaway and I’ve gone on a 10 mm jag, I’m gonna try carrying this guy (Sig P220 10 mm) this Fall/Winter.

The that’s why I prefer my range and go on off days, like to be alone out there

I really like the Legion but by the time you get a full mag in it you better have a good holster and stout belt. That's one heavy pistol to start out with...

Fall??? Its still 200 deg F in my neck of the woods. (Gulf Coast TX) We dont have seasons.

I'll be carrying the M&P 9mm M2.0 Compact again! I love this gun; flawless, reliable, accurate, great ergonomics, and 16 rounds of 9mm.
