Who are folks buying on-line ammo from. It's time to restock.

As above, I use ammoseek.com when I’m looking for specific ammunition. I recently wanted 9mm 147gr HST, 9mm 147gr Winchester JHP, Lawman 9mm 147gr fmj, Sig V-Crown 380…etc.. When I want a specific load ammoseek is a great resource. Sometimes I run into a brick & mortar find at Academy Sport, or Scheels. I see YouTubers refer to Walmart, but it has been years since my local Walmarts carry ammunition, but perhaps they do in your area.

AE AMMO in Greenwood, Indiana - https://www.aeammo.com/
  • Flat rate shipping for ammo purchases up to $250 is $11.99.
  • No shipping charge for orders over $250.
  • Excellent prices, especially when they have sales/specials. You can usually get 9mm 124gr FMJ, brass cased, for under $12 per 50 rounds when you buy 1000 rounds or more.
  • Inventory moves quickly, so while they sell stuff fast, they also restock with more stuff just as fast.
  • Shipping is incredibly fast and when the box arrives, it is wrapped entirely in tape. Not only does that keep the box intact when the shipper abuses it, it keeps everything dry (and I've had drivers leave boxes on my porch in the pouring rain and not ring or knock to let me know it's there, but the taped packages saved the day).
  • If you live in central Indiana, you can visit their store. It's clean, well organized, and all business. The sometimes have smaller quantities of less common ammo on the shelf that they don't put on the web site (like 20ga #1 buckshot).
  • Customer service is outstanding.
  • I've only been in the store one time, but both guys could answer questions readily and were friendly, polite, and professional. One of them even helped me carry my purchases to my vehicle. Some people say it's difficult to find, but I had no trouble with the map I printed.

Good. Nobody has mentioned my favorite source. It is well known but not necessarily for ammo.

I highly recommend them.

:neener:

What can I say? It’s election year. Have to be competitive now so I don’t have to be post-election.

I use SG ammo for bulk purchases. Their Emails drive me crazy sometimes with their deals. I have used LAX and PSA with good results, too.

I used to use exclusively Freedom Munitions, but they got expensive and stopped doing free shipping sales. Then I ordered some 9mm once that had bad primers, now I don't order from Freedom at all.

SG Ammo is good. PSA with their AAC ammo is good too. I try to support PSA as much as I can.

I’ve been happy with Palmetto State Armory in the past, and recently I made a small purchase from Bud’s gun shop for a couple Christmas gifts. No complaints with them either.

+1 on SGAmmo

S&G Ammo – free shipping with a $200 subtotal. Good selection and reliable.
SG Ammo is my go to as of late.
+1 SG ammo is the first place I check.
SGAmmo used to be my go to, but over the last 6 months I've done better other places. But SGAmmo haven't screwed up an order in 10+ years and are good people from what I can tell.
SG Ammo and TargetsportsUSA are my primary go to.
Primaries are TargetSportsUSA and SGammo.
Yep, I always have good service with SG Ammo.
I use SG ammo for bulk purchases.

SGammo, Target Sports USA, PSA, and at times Sportsmans Outdoor Super Store. Bucking Horse Outpost is reliable and free shipping over $175.

At times I have ordered Buffalo Bore from Academy, Cabela’s, and Bass Pro. Many times they offer free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

FWIW just ordered 500 rounds of Federal Range and Target .38 Special for $.45/round delivered from Buds. Most all the other vendors are .55-.65 plus shipping or it's out of stock. Pretty decent in my book.

Before I was reloading for everything I shoot I used Target Sports USA. They usually had stock when no one else did, pricing was competitive and shipping was always free.

I don't buy a lot of ammo, but I have purchased from JG and SG in the not too distant past when they had some surplus I was interested in. As of recently, SG had Swiss surplus 9mm/124 for not too bad a price. Really top notch stuff. They've also consistently had the IMI 5.56, which is also about the best 5.56 you will find anywhere.

You might find cheaper, but won't find better for 9mm practice ammo.

I needed to restock on ammo, too, and looking for a good deal online. TBH never bought ammo or weapons online. But I recently found some offerings online, and to say the least, I have been very reluctant to make a purchase of ammunition over the web. But, through my research, a few kinds really started to catch my eye. One that caught my eye is bulkmunitions.com. I haven't tried it out yet, but I am really into getting down to work with them. From what I've researched, they seem to provide many great scopes with very comfortable prices. On top of that, the reviews are kind of positive. Have you guys heard of them?

I'm sure they are legit, I'm on their email blasts but haven't bought from them yet. Competitive prices for name brand ammo in 9mm and 45ACP. Almost bought from them recently but Buds had a really good deal on Federal .38 special with free shipping. Have also bought a gun or 2 from Buds- they rate very high in all aspects and almost always provide free shipping. Don't know about Bulk's scopes or their weapons but if it's a good deal I wouldn't hesitate.

Update: Brain fade... turns out I did buy 2 cans of 45 ACP from Bulkmunitions last year. Thought it was from another on-line vendor. I've bought quite a bit of ammo on-line in the last half year. So yes, I do recommend them.

My go-to ammo sources are, in no particular order: (a) Target Sports USA; and (b) sgammo.com.
