Plinking / teaching optic for a 10/22

Adjustable stock LOP helps when trying to fit a variety of shooter sizes.

If one doesn't have an adj stock, I'd not go with a traditional scope (due to the shorter eye relief).

The Primary Arms 1X Prism (latest version) has eye relief ....but its long.

Two family members preferred it to a regular red dot sight.

Very interested to read your opinions after you mount it and shoot the rifle with it for a while.

I have and old Leupold 4X M8 on one rifle and it is perfect in my opinion, for my uses.

Always looking for simple fixed 4X scopes and always frustrated they are out of fashion.

If you like the Truglo and it holds zero, that would be a valuable data point.

I would expect that to work well. I have a Simmons (I think) 4x32 on one of my Marlin model 60's that has been fine. It has never given me a problem. I did have some difficulty shooting at a small target at 50 yards with it a while back, but that was not a scope issue. My eyesight has changed. I have gotten glasses since then.

I got the new scope mounted this morning. I’ll try to give a more detailed report after I’ve shot with it. First impressions, though: I’m sure the glass isn’t the same as in $1k+ scopes, but it’s decent. I’m ok with that. It’s good enough for my purposes. I popped it up to my shoulder a couple of times & got on target pretty quick.

Man that scope is up there gonna be tough to get a decent cheek weld.

If you have a big head with fat cheeks like my face, you need medium rings.

For Ruger factory fullsize modular stock with straight top, I needed to use high rings. For Magpul MOE X-22 with angled stock, medium rings.
