Badger, I like your M1 Carbine....looks well used, and especially looks Original! Too many out there today are either put togather from parts, or outright fakes. Hang on to it.

I'll dissent even further and post some c&r bolt action carbines. A 1939 Swiss K-31 and a 1945 Russian M44.

My MechTech 1911 carbine.

Hey drac how do you like that mechtech? I saw one of those at a gunshow and almost bought it, but then had second thoughts not know their quality... They look kinda cool and I have a couple extra 1911's lying around that I never shoot...

*Sigh* i need to buy a digital camera.

I love it. It is more accurate than I am. And, IMO, is more rugged than some of the other carbines out there. The only problem I've had is with CCI Blazer aluminum rounds. It's extractor occasionally puntured the spent case and impaled it. It was interesting removing the case. It will also tear up brass on lighter loads.
