I having a bit of trouble deciding EO-tech or Aimpoint for my Bushmaster, I even thought about the Bushnell for the price. Any sugestions, Im not really looking for range but more over quick targeting.

"Quick targeting" ia a relveant term. Pretty much you need to look through both to figure what works better for. I feel the EOT/holosight is the fastest, and others will say the Aimpoint is faster. Whatever works best for YOUR eyes is what you should settle on.

As has been said, "you can't go wrong". I've not had the EO-tech but I have had the Bushnell and I do have the Aimpoint.

The only thing I've got against the EO-tech/Bushnell is the fact that I can't co-witness it with the iron sights. This may not be important to you but Murphy seems to live with me so I figure it is best to have something that allows me to drop back to iron sights with a minimum of fuss/time.

My EOTech co-witnesses perfectly.

If you have a magnified optic co-witnessing doesn't work or make sense. I thought the AIMPOINT was 4X magnification.

Sinsaba, I finally noticed the link you had with your post (DUH!). I see what the issue is with your sight and your BUIS. The sight is mounted on the FF sleeve rail. The BUIS is mounted to receiver rail, creating a significant height difference between the two. To remedy this, you could get a new FF sleeve that doesn't have the longer top rail and mount both sight and BUIS to the receiver rail. Or move the BUIS up on to the FF rail, but that might cause some significant sight picture isses with the BUIS.

ProficientRifleman, both the ACOG and the Reflex are made by Trijicon.

GoRon, some new models from Aimpoint are magnified. Most are non-magnified optical sights. Aimpoint also sells a magnifier that can be mounted behind the 1x optical sight.
