anyone else here dabble in wood working

I am, for both recreation and as a professional. albums full of work... no scaner.

I like to do some woodworking now and then, mainly on firearms. I'm currently finishing up a fiddleback maple stock for my 1999 Montana Rifleman action.

Here is how I start my wood working projects:

Every time I try, the boards are too short. Even after cutting twice.

The Wife and i both used to enjoy woodworking, however in recent years all our available time has went to refurbish/repair projects on ranch buildings . Trying to catch up on 40 years or so of zero maintenance in many cases .

I did woodworking for 10 years in 4-H, still play around once in a while. I've never done anything on the level of fisherman up there, but i am competent. I am NOT good enough to do guns. I tried some pistol grips and they needed more time than i had.

This is my 10th year 4-H project.

I dabble. My stuff isn't nearly as good as Fisherman's though.

My little brother does. Both the grips and the knife are his.

Yes, I do some woodworking. (Check my username.) However, I don't have any firearms-related output to share.

I enjoy working with wood,leather, and metal.

Nice work guys. My neighbour and I are working on what will be my first major woodowrking project - cabinetry for my master bath. The vanity is well on its way towards completion. Just a couple of more bits to attach to the cabinet, make the doors, and stain. the countertop will be marble tile.

Let's keep this gun related.

Do a lot of woodworking

I do quite a bit of woodworking and have a well equipped shop: table saw, bandsaw, radial arm saw, lathe, surface planer, routers and table, jointer, drill press, 6" sander, oscillating spindle sander and lots of hand, power and cordless tools and clamps.

Those are some great pics and workmanship, thanks. Makes me want to start again and finish up a few projects I have laying around not finished...
