Anyone else find the look of Stainless and Synthetic more appealing than Blued Steel and Wood?

....I know it's probably rare but does anyone else find the look of Stainless and Synthetic more appealing than Blued Steel and Wood?
As a general rule, no. I'm sure I could find particular guns that I think look better in s/s & synth than blued & wood, but they would be the exception, not the rule for me.

It should go without saying that we all appreciate some of the advantages synthetic stocks and s/s metal have over traditional wood and blued steel firearms-but that wasn't the op's question. Again, the sole criteria he specified was "...does anyone else find the look of Stainless and Synthetic more appealing than Blued Steel and Wood?" (emphasis mine).

Thank you for clearing that up for me! I didn't realize that this was a test.

plain synthetic stocks just scream “utility” to me.
I don't know any more ways to say it - I like the look of "utility" when it comes to guns. (emphasis mine);)

Nuthin wrong with that.

I have a Ram-Line (Remember them?) camo stock on a stainless Mini 14. That and a Ruger American .22 Mag and a Win M70 7-Mag with black synthetic stocks. Those I wont cry over too much if I lose footing and use the stock to break my fall.

Now my Mark V or 77RSI? For those I’ll shed tears of pain should they become padding as I tumble onto the rocks!

Stay safe.

I absolutely love shiny guns! So stainless guns I love! Always have. I knew I probably was in the minority but I was ok with that. Now I do own and appreciate blued guns with wood furniture. Certain guns just look good blued with wood stocks or grips. Some just look better shiny with polymer stocks or grips.

I love the all business look of stainless and synthetics. With all of the new coatings out now, I love the look of black on black even more.
