Just bought a Blackhawk and I know I'll end up changing the grips. Might as well, I've put aftermarket grips on everything else I own.
So show us your stuff, fancy or plain.

Nice looking grips!
Now you can't tell me that stellarpod is the only person on this board with a single action!

Eagle Gunfighter Grips in Buffalo Horn on a Ruger Vaquero in .357 MAG. There are some other slight mods on this gun also. Oversize cyl pin, jewelling, trigger job, spring kit, polymer insert on front sight.

Came across these on ebay

Anyone ever use any pewter grips? I've seen them on websites but not sure I'd like them or not.

I've heard that SA grips were smooth to allow the gun to slide in your hand to absorb recoil. Is this true? Seems checkered grips would defeat that purpose.

Has Hakan ever made grips for a SA?

Just got my new Blackhawk grips in today that I bought off of Ebay. They're made of Pau Ferro (he didn't specify the wood in the auction) and they look great!! Here's a quick pick I took as soon as I put them on:

Not bad for 11.99!
Definitely an improvement over the original stock grips

I am using factory grips right now on my Super Single Six and .44 Vaquero so I don't have anything to show. I have and have used a Hogue monogrip though and really like the feel and the way it shoots ......I just can't get past the disturbing apearance of losing the "plow handle" look. :(
