I DID IT!!!! Yes I finally got my WIFE to come out of the house and start learning how to reload!
I think she thought I was making things up when I told her that it wasn't easy and that I don't just go out and yank a handle and make a bullet! She now has an appreciation of what I go through when I have to set things up to start a production run of bullets. :banghead:
I started her out on a basic .380 load of 3gr of Win 231 under a 95gr FMJ Round nose with CCI primers for her Ruger LCP.
I showed her the steps for setting up the press. I showed her case prep... de-prime/re-size, re-priming, case mouth expansion, setting up the powder measure and weighing the drops for consistency. Then I showed her how to set up the bullet seating die and use the Micrometer to verify OAL.
After everything was set up, I let her run the press....
She did fantastic and I didn't have to say or correct anything. I pointed out a couple of things to make her process go a bit smoother but all in all, she did Great!!!
I'm very proud of her and am glad she has decided to come see why I spend so much time reloading! I may have to set up one of my other presses for her to use so we can really build some bullets!
