OPINION: What Do You Believe To Be The Best .32 Auto Ever Made?

It's the only .32 I have but I recently got my hands on a CZ 83 in .32 and I love it, especially the sights and the trigger, so I'll nominate that one!
So far it's run great for me but I've only put about 150 rounds through it. Out of curiosity USP9, what are the issues with the model?

Though, to be honest, the Colt is a lot prettier!:D

Re; the CZ83 in .32acp. The gun wasn't the problem, the first magazines were prone to rimlock. A redesign fixed the problem. I found that European ammo worked pretty well, but U.S. ammo locked up tight as a drum. The new mag has a extrusion into the rear panel that eliminates the movement of the ammo fore to aft. The old mags have a flat back panel.

I have to vote for my CZ83 in .32acp. CZ did make them for a while and it's a fantastic gun...............

Second the CZ83

KT P32 is my EDC, because whenever another gun is forgotten, it's forgotten in my pocket

Ruby type pistol, the Browning/Colt/FN's bastard brother, inexpensive, chunky, and SOLID
with a good barrel, VERY accurate for a gun of that reputation.

OH and I almost forgot
because of grammatical structure

"The Best .32 Auto Ever Made?" ( a .32 Semi-auto...)

the TT-33 Tokarev, however, that's kinda cheating....

I used to own three Walther PPs in .32. I loved them so much I gave them names: Stovepipe, FTE Baby, and Jammer. :neener:

That said, they did fit my hand very well, and were very, very accurate. All three were German police trade-ins, manufactured in the 60s.

Sadly, there was a limited selection of ammo available at the time I owned them, so I never found a load that was very reliable. (Was in the Army, stationed in Germany at the time.)

No one has mentioned the Savage 1907. While not the finest finished pistol, it had a good reputation in the day and several endorsements including Bat Masterson. I have the 3'rd model, often referred to as the 1917. It is the most interesting dissasembly of any pistol I have ever handled.

Historically the Walther PPK in its original chambering, 7.65 Browning.

Snappy in .380, but a dream to shoot in 7.65 Browning.

FN Herstal Model 1922

I've got a PPK and an 03 colt as well! Both fantastic guns. I sold my beretta tomcat, too thick for me for pocket carry, and the other two get carried about the same amount... It's really hard to go wrong with either.

Colt 1903
Savage 1907-1917 (so Buck Rogers/streamline design)
and...

A note to the Mauser HSC.. it's a tad heavy for a pocket gun like the ubiquitous PPK, but wow they were well made. I got to shoot a German ww2 (Luftwaffe?) proofed one long ago. Mauser made several 32 pistols, but the HSC was their first 'modern' piece.

They can usually be had for a LOT less than a wartime Walther.

I collect .32 acp handguns and in my opinion, the CZ83 is the pinnacle of .32 pistol design.
15 shots, comfortable design, good sights, safe to carry as a trigger cocker 1st shot or condition one, ambidextrious controls, a magazine design that all but eliminates rimlock, quite accurate as almost all good .32 acps are, the guns only real fault is coming out just as small reliable 9mm handguns were making the scene.

This gun in that caliber really is the best of the best.

The CZ 83s are definitely nice,

but so is the Beretta 81. Both police trade ins.
