Here are the finished Australian Buloke (the hardest, densest wood on the planet) grips. Chris Whistler from Chistle & Plane Workshop made them from blanks I obtained. Words and even these pictures do not do them and the work justice. They're not just decorative, although they make a great mounting space for medallions. They are Munden gunfighter grips and I can tell you they are the cats a$$ as far as control. They don't allow the grips to rotate in your hand....which is great because that puts the Bisley hammer out of position for re-cocking.
The medallions are silver dimes that have been cut out and relieved. Don't ask me who did that as I stole them from my wife's jewelry box.
I highly recommend Chris's Munden Gunfighter style grips for ANY single action. They make a world of difference.
