I wasn't too keen on my factory Savage 110 bolt handle so I decided to do something about it.
I ground the knob until the case just fit over it,then filled the case with solder through the flash hole that I drilled bigger.
No rcmodel,I'm sorry for snapping back.that was uncivilized.
Lead council,it is a 300wsm case,I tried an '06 case first but it was too long and skinny.when I ground the knob I made sure and stayed as close to the centerline of the shaft handle so the case wouldn't be any closer to the scope than the factory knob.

This is my first post....But I am very impressed here! Now, I want to see what I can come up with! Again, very creative and functional designs for otherwise dull bolt handles.
The ones with custom knobs were machined by me and they thread on. The factory savage handle is bolted into a jig I made, dialed in, machined and threaded. Knob is machined on the handle after threading while still in lathe. The one piece handles are reshaped factory target handles.
