I'm a bit interested in these guns as it looks like it might make a nice carry weapon. Anybody have experience with them? I've gone to three gun shops this week and they all said they have sold out.
I've never owned a Ruger, so I'm not up on their reliability and quality. The form factor...
I have tritium night sights on my carry .45 and I think they make a huge difference. I have a Sig 226 and a 1911 full size without them, and even at the range I have to take more time to aim.
Matthaios,
Not that I know of. I didn't even think you needed to register to post. You said you got an improper registration error? I'll try and forward this to the admins. I post there quite often.
Soybomb, that helps a lot.
I've been given guns by family members growing up and never needed fill out any forms or go through a FFL. I've never given/sold a gun to anyone, so this is new to me.
This seems harder than it should be.
Thanks for voting on this, I can't believe how even it is! You'd think in light of recent events, people would be stumbling over themselves to help our campuses become less of a victim zone.
Deanimator - for some reason when I looked this morning I didn't see your reply. I thought it was so...
Another way: Open Poll - Should professors and students be allowed to carry guns?
Also, a pretty popular national political site I frequent often is running a poll entitled "Should professors and students be allowed to carry guns on university campuses?"
It's open to the public, no...
Here comes the gun control debate on the MSM.
At least this site is trying to promote the pro-gun arguments.
Do "gun-free" zones encourage school shootings? article at RedBlueAmerica.com
Looks like they allow you to vote on which side is right.
Firepower!
I'd be interested to see one of these babies in action.
I have a good semi auto which I like, and also a cheap O/U which I can normally outshoot my buddies with their $2000 guns. But they're not such a good shot, so it's not that hard.
I believe in quality and own many $1000+...
I have the Ultra CDP, and would say the same thing. The reason being is that it is small enough to conceal, but very easy to knock down a target accurately at 25-yards. My scandium j-frame is small and easy to conceal, but worthless (for me anyways) at over 7 yards.
My father is interested in buying my SW M&P 9C from me for concealed carry. I need to ship it to him, but am not sure how to go about it? Can I ship the gun/barrel in separate boxes? Is that legal? Do I have to ship go through a federally licensed firearms dealer?
This is a first for...
I've always been a fan of Browning. I think this poll needs to specify what it is being used for.
For home defense I want this one!

My fingers are crossed that this election doesn't throw the whole 2nd Amendment into peril. And with crazies like Ann Coulter Endorsing Hillary Clinton, things are looking bleak for pro-gun candidates.
The holster is a Desanti I believe, and that is for my Sig 226. Wish is it was at 210! :-)
Nope, wouldn't trade this dog for the world...he's great. Glad you all enjoyed the pics.
We took my Golden Retriever, Elwood, out to the range over the weekend. Apparently he was a bit jumpy everytime we'd start shooting. So while I was shooting, my buddy's wife put her ear protection on him. He sat in the back of the truck for the next half hour wearing the things - happy as...
