Well I tried a round in another gun with the same result. Then I reprimed with a new large rifle primer that went off and cracked the rim. I gathered up all my old prepared rounds, including a full MTM 50 rounder, for testing
Thats probably it. The strikes are very light. I have had these loaded a long time and had no problems, years ago with a third gun. I will shoot these again as I didnt let one, possibly go off, today in the apt.
It wasn't bad primers because I tried four or five. They have been kept out of heat etc. Tried single and double action several times. They must have pushed themselves out a bit but seem to be where they belong. I am gonna try one now in my Cobra, they were tried in my DW
My loaded Speer .38 practice rounds, totally failed, to fire. They have sat for several years and only tried in one gun, very light strikes and good with regular rounds.
I have the Excam, bought for my father, in 1977 or so. It has a middle left side safety. It cannot be fired quick enough, as if that mattered. I made a kydex sheath that ended up inside a leather belt holster... permanently. It can be carried ready to fire and really snugly, in the double...
I use all fiber optic type front sight on all of mine and swing the dot and shoot, one eye, like a rifle. Inconsistant, but sometimes ok. Mostly not too good

I know very little about them but we had a guy at the club that was shooting a .223, single shot pistol of some sort at 100 yds. with his suppressor. He was shooting around 1/2 inch groups and the sound was like a .22 rifle, from my memory. I purposely removed my muffs to see.
Mine is a work belt, mostly,at this time. Its around 13 yrs old. It was pretty good until I jumped in a lake and it never was the same. I have redyed and sealed it a couple times to stiffen up and took the buckle off to replace the one my, newer belt, that had snapped the hole catching thingy...
