I shoot a 150gr BT and Varget in mine. I would like to shoot somthing a little lighter but the 150's are giving me clover leafs. So 150's is what I keep feeding it.
The restoration was done by Dick Williams in Saginaw, MI. The action is tight and the bore is in very good condition. I bought it about 8 years ago in this condition. I have shot it a little and it shoots well, but I'm more into bolt guns. I know that the refinish can be a huge hit to the value...
I am having some trouble determining the value of a 1928 Model 94 saddle ring carbine chambered in .30 WCF ( ser# 10406xx ). The rifle has been professionally restored; this is what has me at a loss as far as value. The bluing is beautiful and the stampings are still crisp. The wood is original...
I have a 617-1 6 shot with the 8-3/8" full lug barrel that I'm thinking of trading in for a carry gun. My 617 is in 98% to 99% conndition and was just wondering how much that I should be asking for it in sale or trade. I also have the box, papers, and trigger lock that came with the gun. It also...
This is not my adverage group. I can almost always hold a .3" to .4" group with it though. The group that I posted is what this rifle is capable of if everthing goes right (e.g. no wind, moon , stars, etc, oh and of corse the part between the bench seat and the trigger).
We finaly had some god shooting weather here in Michigan this weekend so I took advantage of it and went to the range with a few of my rifles. I shot some nice groups but one that I’ really proud of. I showed a few people but no one seems to really apreaciate it, so I thought I would post it...

DOBBS: As we learn more about all of these victims, the loss becomes even greater. And Kitty, thank you very much. Kitty Pilgrim.
The shootings at Virginia Tech have raised the politically...
I was looking around the Sig web site today and noticed that there is no longer a P220ST or P226ST listed on their web site. Have these models been dropped form the Sig lineup? If so, what a shame they where fine handguns. I sure hope this was just an oversight on my part, and that they are...
The best deal I have found was a very clean Sig P220ST for $450. I later found out that it had over $400 dollars of work done to it by TJ's Custom Gunworks (Short trigger, full action job, pollish feed ramp and chamber, and a few other odds and ends). I also have a Dan Wesson CBOB on order from...
Once upon a time Ogemaw County used to charge $5, but that has been gone for at least 5 to 6 years. Now there is no charge and they will take care of you during normal bussiness hours and then some. Fast and Friendly.
Can someone else comment on this one? I know I'm being anal on this whole airline issue, but I've never flown with a firearm before. In a week I'll realize I was all worked up for nothing. :scrutiny:
