Thanks. I haven't had to try replacing a bolt on a .22 and didn't think about headsapce. I also hadn't heard about a rifle missing a bolt being possibly stolen. Why does that mean that it might be stolen? Jim

A friend came across a Savage Mk2 .22 rifle. It is missing the bolt. Does anyone have a source for a replacement bolt? He called Savage and they said he could send it in and they would replace it for about $89.00. Thanks, Jim
