My wife past away about a month ago, I haven't touched one of my guns since. I don't trust myself right now to even handle a loaded gun. My mind is else where right now.
Powder and shot got ridiculous. I only reload 28 and 410 now. As for components, I only use Remington hulls for 12 and 20ga, and Winchester for 28 and 410.
To the OP, pick a hull, get the proper wads and primer and have at it. Components do matter. I saw two shotguns with burst barrels, one...
I went to pick up a S&W mod 60 last week from my FFL. He has a pretty good transfer business. For every 30 semi autos he gets, he only sees 1 revolver.
I'm pretty much where you are. I have enough guns. I'm starting to just enjoy shooting the ones I have. I really spend more time reading and reloading than worrying about another gun.
