CHANGED RAM ON MY RCBS SUPREME II PRESS!!

When the Ram was out, were you able to polish inside the bore of the press, where the ram resides? Not the easiest area to access, but some very fine grit sandpaper wrapped on a dowel would be my recommendation should the squeak come back.

    help picking a press

I'd consider the T-7 to be manually indexed/advanced. IMHO, the T-7 has more of a 'single-stage, visually open' vibe than a 550, even if both are manually indexed/advanced. RCIV and LNL-AP here. Blue's comments in post 39 reflect my usage. One common misconception I had pre-purchase of a...

What reloading components have you overbought?

No heirs here,,, Kegs of Pistol Powder would be my 'overbought' entry. Gander Mountain was G. O. O. B. and Kegs of Universal, Unique, and Clays were marked way down,,, used a coupon code and made off with 4. Already had 2 kegs of other Pistol Powders at home I load for recreational 9mm...

What have you done in the reloading room today

Charged and Seated some 223. Was very happy with my first ladder (Shot this AM) Fiddling with the seating depth a bit now, but not sure I can actually shoot the difference. :)

    RCBS Partner Press shell holders?

IMO, it's complete overkill for pistol, but it has through the ram spent primer handling and will handle just about anything the OP won't be throwing at it. $170 https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1013008991?pid=317831 I have a RCBS Supreme, but that doesn't mean I don't want a smaller press when...

    RCBS Partner Press shell holders?

Question for the OP: Beside 357 Mag and 44 Mag, what other calibers would you be considering? IMHO, if just for ~straight~ wall pistol calibers, the Partner would be more than adequate, plus being a nice upgrade from the Lee Classic.

    RCBS Partner Press shell holders?

I've used several Hornady shell holders in my RockChucker Supreme press with no issues. (Some) Hornady shell holders don't work with my RCBS Hand Priming tool.

    Huge Plastic Jugs

Been peelin' and re-stickin' powder labels for quite a while. I have some 8# labels cut to fit 1#, etc. I use clear packing tape when the original adhesive gets weak.

    Lyman brass dryer

The cost of a happy wife is well-worth the price of a brass dryer!

What have you done in the reloading room today

Been a while since I posted. Charged and seated (100) 223 - 69 gr SMK with the last of my 8208XBR :( Charged and seated (100) 223 - 69 gr SMK with almost the last of my RL-15. (Nothing wrong with it, but I have plenty of alternatives on hand) Installed a new extractor, cartridge holder, and...

What Bullet & Powder Would You Use

"Light bullet/fast powder" would be my thoughts. What do you have to work with?

    Lyman brass dryer

Considering all the other gizmo's you've come up with, it is a bit primitive,,, ;)

    Lyman brass dryer

Which brings up a good point: Needed capacity. I've collected enough brass that I tumble multiple batch's at a setting. (typically 2-5k cases total) I'd need a ~couple-3~ brass dryers just to keep up. I could let 'em all air dry, but time/space required would be a bit more. No basements here...

Great range day for reloaded ammo.

Heck, I had fun just findin each caliber (and perhaps a few others?) in the pic,,,,

    Lyman brass dryer

I do. I leave them in the bottom half of my (drained) separator bin. They air dry over a period of a couple days here inside the house.
