To clarify some questions. I am a experienced shooter but by no means an expert. I did suggest a few different firearms but wanted to see what others would suggest to the group. None of the 5 we're interested in any revolvers I suggested. Also it didn't seem any of the group was interested in...
Pretty much what the title says. Ohio became the 18th state to pass the constitutional carry law. I've had several people ask me advice for a 9mm that can do both carry and HD. Price point would vary greatly from a range between $300-$600. Asking for recomandations what the highroad thinks.
I was able to goto a few gun shops and try different grips. Ended up getting the Pachmayr grips. Definitely feel an improvement for my hand. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
Thanks everyone for the feedback. Its definitely very helpful. Im not opposed to a grip that's alittle longer then the stock one and trying to keep cost between $20-50 if possible so the wife doesn't murder my ass.
Recently bought a new no lock smith 442 and love it. Now trying to decide between looks( wood grips) or comfort ( hogue). I was curious what all the j frame owners are using.
Three really good choices. I've shot all 3 but the sig226 was out of my price range at that time so it was a toss up between the Beretta and CZ. They had a sale on the M9A1 beretta for $459. I couldn't pass it up. It's been dead reliable after 400 rounds so far and couldn't be happier. Good...
My wife has one and she likes it. No FTF or FTE after 200 rounds so far. We also have problems fully seating a full magazine in but figure it will get better over time. Other then that it's a great little reliable gun. We got ours for $199. For the price it's worth it.
I was able to get a sport 2 with an extra pmag and 30mm scope for $499 with my military discount. Definitely feel like i got a decent deal. Thank you for everyone that helped. I have heard great things about windham and I'll definitely consider them when I get a 2nd AR. My wife is jealous and...
My budget has increased to about $650 now. The Sprt 2 is going for around $620 and Ruger 556 around $500. I did look at PSA but obviously I wont be able to actually check it out without buying it first. That's Unfortunately a deal breaker for me.
I dont plan on doing really any modifications...
I gotta be honest and say this sub forum is definitely different then the autoloader sub forum.
I do pay my taxes thank you very much lol. My limit is at 600ish
And I do appreciate the online advice. My question was more specific to a beginner AR that I can without having to assemble one...
At my local FFL there running a sale on Ruger AR556 going for $479 and with a tru glow 30mm red dot $499 till March 13th. Thinking that would be a good starting point?
Yeah i should have made it clear from the beginning amd been more clear.
.
I have ZERO experience building an AR15. I dont wanna buidl one. I wanted recommendations on a beginner AR to buy, especially online.
Thanks anyways guys. I'll ask elsewhere.
With the prices of the beretta92s dropping to make room for the newer lines I'm really tempted part with a few of my glocks to make room for another Beretta. Yes.. I'm digging mine that much.
Hello everyone.
So I'll have about $500-550ish doallrs to spend and I want to buy an AR15. I haven't shot one since my Army days years ago ( M16A2). This rifle will be obviously mostly for the range and I guess a back up HD.
I'm hoping for my money I can get something reliable. Would like...
