Inexpensive 9mm?

Hi all, after several years enjoying my revolvers i'm looking into getting a 9mm for some range fun and open carry around the home. I'm looking for something with a sub $400 MSRP with drift adjustable sights, 4" barrel and (preferably) a manual safety. Thanks in advance!

I carry the M&P Shield and The M&P C around the house.
You don't have to spend $500 to get a good pistol.

My personal recommendation would be a CZ P-07 (mid size, think Glock 19 sized) or P-09 (full size). MSRPs are above $500 but they are widely available for less.

My bedside gun is a P-07, probably my favorite gun to shoot.

Just curious and not picking on you but why do you want a thumb safety since you’ve been shooting revolvers for years? Of course you’ll end up with short crisp triggers on most semi autos, relative to a revolver anyway.

I believe you can get M&Ps with or without safeties. Also the Ruger American is well built and available with or without a safety. I have a budget Ruger Security 9 that’s been reliable and I really like it. It’s the only gun I have with a safety and I just leave it off. Glock is in your budget, reliable and abundant but no safety available in US.

I'd prefer a safety because one of my friends that I go shooting with that has bad nerves in his hands from a car accident a few years ago. He lets me shoot his guns and i'd like to let him shoot mine. Call it a peace of mind thing

1911s in 9mm or a used 92fs would be my recommendation.

You might be aboe to get a new Beretta 92fs on sale. They have a sale going on right now at my FFL for $459 new.
