Yeah, seems high to me also, but then the Henry 30-30 is retailing at $900. Is the addition of nostalgia to the manufacturing process really that expensive?
I love everything about my 6906 except the trigger. The single action pull has a looong take up, a small hitch, then a mushy wall before the break. If I could clean that up it'd be in my carry rotation.
I'm happy enough with my FA. Not perfect, but I don't expect any priming tool is. I had to send the first one back due to feed issues and the inability to control seating depth, but the replacement has been solid with just a few hiccups every now and then. I'd buy it again, fwiw.
That old saw has never really resonated with me. In my limited experience, the old man with one gun keeps it wrapped in an old towel. It's buried in a drawer somewhere and it'll eventually end up in an estate sale or handed down to a relative.
I'm very confident that you went in eyes-wide-open. My perspective is different in that I'm ok with the triggers in my striker-fired pistols, so it doesn't feel like a compromise to carry them. Cheers.
I hate to think how long you waited and how much you spent to get C&S to tune your Kahr only to damn it with faint praise. Why do you carry it if it's a compromise?
...them, they make quality products that people WANT to purchase, and and the internal lock still has people tied up in knots?
I'm with bdickens here. We need S&W to be viable so they can continue to fight back against these weasels. Buy a Smith or don't, but for f***'s sake please drop the...
The only one I own at the moment, a recent trade I made with another forum member. After owning a Dan Wesson ECP for a while I realized that I really prefer a forged frame over aluminum.
