Do NOT try a Palmetto State Dagger!!!

I have a low round count through mine. About 3000 rounds. Half are stock and other half with a green dot sight. Low quality in feel compared to my Walthers but as a carry gun? I cannot fault them. Even the trigger is better than a stock Glock. For the low cost of the firearm I am impressed with them.

Hickok seldom bad mouths anything. Still, if he had real problems with a gun I believe he would make it known but gently.

That has been my experience with watching his reviews. If something malfunctions or is difficult to use he will not hide it but he wont make a big production out of it either.

I see a lot of people post that they don't like the Dagger trigger. This surprises me as I like the trigger on my dagger. I find myself wondering if it is a tolerance stacking thing. Maybe some have better triggers than others.
I just went & dry fired it & my M&P 2.0 40 Compact side by side & the triggers actually feel similar though I think the M&P trigger might be just a touch heavier.
The only real complaint I have had is that the mag-catch was stiff when I first bought mine. After some use it is easy to manipulate as long as the magazine isn't completely full.

I heard these pistols from PSA were really good. The guy from Military Arms Channel said that the PSA 5.7 was his favorite among the Ruger and the FN in a side by side comparison. If I was a new gun owner starting over and wasn't already set in my ways and had all the carry guns I could ever need, there wouldn't be much stopping me from giving the PSA Dagger it's day in court...

I thought I would hate the S&W style trigger. Turns out it's a non-issue in the Dagger. I don't even notice it.
I hated that trigger in the S&W Shield, I briefly owned.

Tell me about the ergonomics. Does it have a different grip angle than a g-lock? What mags does it run?
....because you will purchase one.

They fixed the grip from the standard G brand that the Dagger is patterned off of. Now it POINTS at POI as it should. I nice bulge in the rear strap combined with a slightly more aggressive texture on the front strap really changes this platform up.

Trigger is excellent. Has a half of the normal G springy feel, but the short reset is definitive and of the right distance.

VERY impressed.
Uses Glock mags but I don't know if any gens are excluded.

Even if the thing blows up or only fires 1 out of 199 rounds he doesn’t have anything bad to say.

Funny you should say that. Last year sometime I headed to the indoor range at my gun club. Just one other shooter there. Just before I entered his Dagger had kaboomed. He wasn't injured so that was good. He showed it to me and it was in pieces. May have been his fault maybe not.

Better than Glock
Does it have a different grip angle than a g-lock?
Yes. Without getting out my protacter, the angle is more like a S&W or Walther to me than Glock.
What mags does it run?
Glock mags. Some bundles on PSA are coming with bulk count Pmags. I use KCI mags in mine with no issues. You can also use Pro mag or OEM Glock as well. I believe as long as they are Gen 3 mags, they work.

I finally went to get my dagger at my FFL after purchasing the combo package with the case, pistol, and 10 mags. The deal also included 2 boxes of ammo which were shipped to my house. But the magazines are missing - I only got 1. Which is disappointing because that was part of how great the deal was… so hopefully they make it right. Trigger is not good, but it’s not terrible either. It’s what I would expect for a $300 gun. It feels good in my hand so I’m looking forward to shooting it, one magazine at a time…

Head over to handgunhero.com and do a comparison between the PSA Dagger and the Glock 19. You will see that they both have the same grip angle.
What PSA did for ergos was make the grip less blocky and gave the trigger guard a different shape. Basically they fixed the 2 biggest complaints about Glocks.
I use the provided Pmag and a couple of 15 round Glock mags with no issues.

I don't know how long it will take for you to get a response from them. There is a PSA Dagger group on F-book. There are people from PSA that watch it. If you were to post about your missing magazines there you might get a faster response.

Mix up with FFL. He forgot to give them to me so not PSA’s mistake or fault.

I ordered a a Gen 5 Glock 19 ( comes with 3 mags)
My used to be Transfer FFL conveniently kept one of them .. leaving 2 in my box ..
The next day .. I went the store.. just talking around .. casually asked to see a Gen 5 19 he had on display .. I then removed tbe mag .. stuffed in my shirt pocket … and walked out

Probably a good chance you were on camera…
