With the benefit of 80 years of R&D, and the benefit of computer aided drafting, computer controlled machining, and a designer with a background in production....I would certianly hope its a better design mrchanically
Be careful, NOT all PSA uppers will work correctly with all DPMS pattern lowers.
My buddy has a PSA upper in 308 that will. NOT take p-mags, and will not lock open when on my DPMS pattern lower.
Yes, I know the mags lock into the lower...but, with my friends upper, they wont lock in...steel...
Is there a formula to put that into numbers that can be easily compared, such as maybe an equation for free recoil.
Not quit as subjective as most of the answers, including my own have been
I buy the gun once
Ammo and or components over and over
Accessories, sgain, often multiple times till the right one comes along.
When I was dealing guns, the small stuff ALWAYS sold, and they paid the rent. Guns would often take months to sell, and put the bigger dollars in the money...
On the subject of actually being sick, whether a simple cold or something worse, when I have active symptpms...I stay home and bask in the misery, and frankly, shooting or reloading are not even something I tjink about.
How??
Immediatly upon the bullet leaving the case the pressure begins to drop
Besides, I said similiar...not exact or identical.
Do you really think there would be any noticable difference between a 130gr bullet from a 308 and a 130gr bullet from a 6.5 each at 3000ish fps from the same 10 lb...
If I am there to buy 3 boxes and there are 3 left I buy em all, if more then I buy what I went in after.
I dont get to concerned about buying the last one...somebody is going to..may aswell be me if I want/need it.
This past spring I bought three hogs for butchering, on 3 successive weeks.
Each time the guy double tapped the pig in the rear quarter of the skull.
1st one ran a few steps and went down, and was popped a 3rd time through the side of the head.
2nd jumped, flopped and twisted like an olympic...
LOL
I would venture a guess you have never worked a gunshow.
It would amaze you how many people seemingly assume that if its on display they can pick it up and mesd with it without so much as a hello
My overuse is from work..and because I have a defective forearm.
Carpal tunnel both wrists....multiple cortisone shots AND a career change due to right shoulder pain/inflamation, left shoulder isnt much better and I have slipped disc on my low back...age 50...been working since I started...
Will actually be butchering a hog this weekend.....for the first time ever..
Have butcherd quite a few deer, so we are going to butcher in a similiar way as deer.
