Took it out today and shot a box thru it. Less recoil than my lcp. Now I just have to figure out how to change batteries in the crimson trace laser sight.
I got a Remington 380 from a good friend that passed away recently. Seems like a solid little pistol, lot heavier than my lcp2. Anyone have one? Better than the other Remington pistols?
I know I've gotten away from 44 mag, my hands & wrists don't appreciate the magnum loads anymore. A shooting buddy is in the same boat. Might look into 44 special but for the most part it's 9mm or 38. And a lot of 22's.
I know what you mean. A couple times we moved when I was active duty we ended up with several boxes of someone else's stuff. Movers eventually came & picked them up, always figured we were missing a few boxes but couldn't figure out what it was. Guess it wasn't anything important
I think it's an old age thing, I have several Pistols, rifles & shotguns that I bought but haven't shot. Nothing fancy or collectable, just ones I got a craving for & purchased . Some I've had for 2 or 3 years. It never happened in my younger days, course I didn't have the extra cash back...
Finally got around to shooting my new cm9. Spent a few nights just racking the slide to loosen it up. Put a couple boxes thru it today and was happy. Functioned perfectly and trigger was nice, typical kahr feels like you're shooting a double action revolver.
I have one that was purchased many years ago. Less than $100 I got the rifle, cleaning kit & bandolier and small can of ammo. It's reliable, seems a little clunky and accuracy is ok considering the sights & my old eyes. I wouldn't pay current prices for one.
I've had the urge for a marlin 1894 357 for a couple months. Going to look at the ruger marlin first. If I don't get a good feeling then I'll look for an older one
