I'm dealing with a heavy, gritty trigger right now, but the gun is awesome. It tames the recoil of the 40, feels great in my hand, just has a solid feel. I put 75 rounds through it today, no hiccups.
An SR40 full size for $325 after transfer.....that is a deal!

It finally broke on me, after 12 years of use and probably around 60,000 rounds loaded. This was a good excuse to upgrade to the Lee Classic Turret, which I did.
Second picture is the new classic turret all mounted up and running.
I just picked up 500 124 grain FMJ's for $30 shipped this morning. That is a smoking deal. Some people claim that Xtreme is junk, but I've never had an issue with them. Shipping can take up to two weeks now, but that doesn't bother me either.
One of my carbines has 3500 rounds on it, decided to measure the spring....its 9.5 inches. The minimum is 10-1/8th inches. I just ordered 2 more from Midway. I'm not having any function issues, but it is out of spec.
Cheaper than dirt has them for $350.....that is a smoking deal. I bought one of these last year from PSA for $400 out the door and it is an accurate, rock solid pistol with a good trigger.

I've been shooting my carbine AR's with the standard buffer for a long time. I decided to buy a heavy buffer for it and see how that would be. The spikes buffer is 4oz compared to 3oz for the carbine buffer.
This thing makes a difference in my book, its totally quiet and recoil is less harsh...
Last week, I sent my PPX 40 in for a broken slide stop lever. They recieved the pistol last Friday and today I got a return shipping confirmation. A two day turn-around is pretty damn good. This is my first experience with Walther service and I'm happy.
While I was shooting it today, the slide stop piece that rest's on the frame, literally broke off! It is plastic, so I'm wondering about the durability of this. The same thing did happen to my Ruger SR40-C, but it broke inside the frame. Ruger repaired it for free in no time.
I've already...
Had a good day with these today. I was shooting RMR 115 grain FMJ with 5.6 grains CFE-P out of the Ruger. The Walther was loaded with 165 grain X-Treme HP's, 7.2 grains Longshot.
They came in today. These look great, just slight pull marks right at the ogive, but nothing that will affect acccuracy. I'm really happy with RMR's stuff.
These look like some sweet bullets, just bought 500 of them for $59.85 shipped.

Every pistol I own, I shoot a little to the left, its a gremlin I can't seem to get rid of. Anyhow, this thing is a shooter, the recoil is more like +p 9mm, it being a 40 cal. The recoil impulse is very smooth. The trigger has a smooth take-up, then you pull through a break at the very rear...
This is not a good performance:
Now for the Sig 320:
The Glock 17:
The Sig and the Glock faired pretty well, the HK failed miserably. With reading about how HK test's their pistols in adverse conditions, how can this be?
