Love my Custom II. Got it several years ago for about $720 plus shipping and transfer. I am not sure if it is my most accurate pistol but i certainly shoot it the best. Great trigger, smooth recoil, I love it. Can consistently shoot a full magazine and only make one ragged hole at 10 yards. The...
Nice, thanks for the review! I will keep an eye out for future rifles or if any friends are looking to get into the game.
BTW, I read the same compensator article as you did, and splurged on the "winner" from precision arms. I must say, worth every penny! So i am glad i got the one i did, but...
I didn't really mind their shipping either...I don't have any emails from back then to verify, but I recall most orders got to me in 10 days at the most. I do remember one complete upper took close to 3 weeks, but that was during the sandy hook panic chaos, and I thought was reasonable...
Seems like it is common knowledge that PSA ships extremely slow. I know this is a relative term for people (after all, us amazon prime members get spoiled with 2-day shipping :D), but I have never found it to be too bad.
I have been gearing up for a couple more AR builds and have placed...
Thousands of satisfied customers. PSA's biggest PR problem is also their biggest asset: online word of mouth. Maybe they have a higher lemon rate than BCM, maybe they don't. But you can rest assured when someone has an issue, they'll definitely post about it, and warp will be there to pile on.
The OP can't confirm if it was the lower or the parts that were out of spec, didn't give PSA a chance to make it right (if it was indeed their error in the first place) won't take it apart to show the extent of grinding required, and can't confirm if it was classic/premium line stuff, or the...
I already have one and am tempted to pick up a spare at 200!
To reiterate others...snappy recoil, long trigger pull (but I have found it breaks consistently) and I can make one ragged hole at 7 yards.
The slide will go as far forward with a round chambered as it does on an empty chamber.
The chamber portion of the barrel will cam up and into the recess of the slide. This doesn't happen until the very last millimeter or so of slide travel, so I would imagine it is very rare for an...
Their classic LPK is marked as made in USA.
OP, out of curiosity did you pick up a "freedom" line LPK?
I only ask because I just ordered an A2 build kit from them for $125, when they had a "freedom" A2 kit for $99. It seemed like the stock assembly was the same, the only difference being...
...and millions of engineers and scientists would disagree.
But, in a sense i guess you are right. The model itself doesn't explain reality. It models reality, it is an analog vrrsion of reality, and we have to explain why. But if we can predictively model something and prove a hypothesis i'd...
Even in buildings and floor framing systems, vibration is an incredibly complex subject. Thinking about the vibrations and modal properties and harmonics of a rifle barrel can make your head spin.
Damping is a good idea, but most of the dampers I am familiar with (in building applications)...
Is that what an order of magnitude is? Lol
My only point was like, if i said your odds of winning the lottery are 1 in 250e6 vs 250e7. Yeah one is 10x more likely to win, but both are basically zero. And just like humans can't comprehend insanely large numbers, most can't fathom ridiculously...
Lol. I noticed that a few hours after I typed it. Then i was like, nah who cares. At a certain point the fraction gets so small, it is basically "negligible" from a statistical standpoint. Or statistical noise as some would put it. But glad you noticed! [emoji3]
I replaced my milspec trigger with a PSA EFCG. It went from a 6.5 lb terribly inconsistent pull, down to a very consistent 6 lb pull.
The milspec was +/- 0.5 lbs. The enhanced was +/- 0.1 lbs. So although it isn't a much lower pull, it is more consistent for sure.
Of course it wont hold a...
