Has anyone tried the front activated Crimson Trace LG-417 Laser Sight on a 3rd gen Glock 22?
I have front activated CT LG's on my 1911's and think they're great! The front activation just feels so natural. :)
Some concerns I have relative to putting these on my 3rd gen Glock 22 include...
I'm a member of both Capital City Gun Club and also Kaw Valley Gun Club.
Capital City Gun Club is member owned and their Ranges are all outdoors.
Kaw Valley Gun Club is privately owned, is indoors, climate controlled and well ventillated. I believe Kaw Valley has 7 shooting stations...
All I can say is that it appears to me that we may either have a lot of young voters on this thread or a lot of old shooters with short memories. :banghead:
A lot of people voting for a third party candidate (Ross Perot) is what brought us the first term of the first Clinton Administration...
Right & Wrong
Dick,
Sounds like you're doing all the right things. I worked for this in Missouri for several years before moving to Kansas 10 years ago and have since worked for it here in Kansas.
It took more than 10 years to get it in Missouri and likewise here in Kansas.
In Missouri...
Right and Wrong
I agree somewhat with texascarl.
was Phil Journey. He is an attorney who is a past president of the Kansas State Rifle Association. He resigned that office when he became a Senator to avoid conflict of interest; but, he didn't change his beliefs nor suddenly become ignorant...

I wasn't going to bring this up; but, I have been considering this, as well.:(
Other than this issue, my wife and I generally like it here in Topeka; but I don't plan to wait another 5-10 years for the privilege to CCW in Kansas. I lobbied for it for several years, while living in...

Shanghai McCoy,
I joined KSRA this year also. I don't think that I wasted my money. KSRA did have the CCW Bill's Sponsor, Candy Ruff, at their annual meeting this year to speak in favor of her CCW Bill and they also had Wayne LaPiere, of NRA, there to do the same. Although I would like to see...
Monkeyleg, we already have something similar to that in Kansas Law. There is an exception to the prohibition in the State Statutes against concealed weapons for hunters and fishermen while hunting or fishing. Only thing is, we don't have pre-emption so if your fishin' in the City Pond, you...
Well, my Rep was with us but my Republican Senator was against. But he (Sen Bill Bunten) says he won't run for re-election :) so hopefully we can put someone in at that seat that will be in favor of CCW.
We have our work cut out for us and we really need to be better organized. Not really...

Well, at least, come November, we will know who to throw out of office and who to keep.
We need to post how they voted, as...
