I have a JTS I bought from Pyramyd for $500.
Had it going on two years. I have an air venturi dryer on the output side. I use it to fill an Avenger .177 to 4350psi, a Notos .22, DAR .25, and FX .30 to 3000-3200 psi.
I have no complaints about this compressor, haven't had any issues. It is air...

Never been in a Scheels, I don't believe they are in the northeast. But I have ordered a few hunting/firearm related things online from them. Prices were decent. Shipping was quick.
We don't have much around where I live. Couple of good LGS. But they are limited in what they sell. Local Walmarts...
I chose .45ACP because I like it.
Nothing wrong with 9mm either.
.357 is great round. However capacity could be an issue.
Don't own a .44 mag, don't know much about the round.
I don't feel undergunned with a .38 special. In an urban environment I'd choose more capacity.
If I didn't load it or buy it new in the box, I'm not shooting it. No way no how.
I can see breaking them down for the bullet or brass if you enjoy doing it. I'd of course toss the unknown powder and primer.
Same here. When I buy a new gun it gets its own little notebook with round count, loads or brand of purchased ammo if not using my reloads.
Used guns, .22s and shotguns, I don't bother.
I was recently looking for a sub compact 9.
First choice was a CSX. Figured if I didn't like it I'd grab a 365. Local store had CSX, 938, Hellcat and 365xl. After handling and dry firing them the 938 and 365 were out of the running. 938 grip didn't agree with me. The 365 grip shape caused the...
I won't judge you. You should buy what you like. I own SW and Ruger revolvers. I've shot other people's Taurus and Charter guns. I have no interest in owning either.
No real knowledge on Rossi. I've always considered them 2nd rate. But that's just from reading about them.
The deer certainly love suburban back yards.
The suburban sprawl of the eastern parts of Massachusetts also throw the density numbers off. There are a lot fewer deer where I live than there are 100 miles to the East. Lot of towns with no discharge laws and large amounts of unhuntable areas due...
Shanghai,
First, thank you.
I think we do actually have a more dense deer population. Massachusetts is about 10550 square miles with a deer herd around 150000. That comes out to approximately 14 deer per square mile. Kansas is around 82000 square miles with a deer herd of around 700000. That's...
I'd say it's not as popular as other places, but there are plenty of dedicated hunters here. Looking at some data from Mass Wildlife they claim deer density of 12-18 per square mile in the western part of the state, to 30-50 deer per square mile in the eastern part of the state. Looks like...
