With well over 100 nationalities represented here, few know how to drive, walk, stay warm, stay cool, call 911, do much of anything regardless of the weather. The only thing you know for sure, they’ll vote. Here in TX most don't know how to drive on wet roads, so forget icy roads. They think since they have 4x4 they can drive on anything and go anywhere. They forget one minor detail is that you have to be able to STOP. I think the ground is too warm for ice to form except on bridges right now. I use to do work for the north slope. Average low is -30F. Did most all of my testing at -50F with some at -75F. I still have my arctic suit, rated for -50F. You can't even put the thing on till it gets <32F, other wise you will sweat even with all the vents opened. Still got to deal with your limbs, hands & feet, are the first to go. Any temp in the -25F range is very dangerous, you can frost bite your lungs if your not careful. Filtered air is required once you get down to -30F. Had to use it a couple of years ago when we go down into single digits to help a neighbor feed his cattle. He had a knee replacement and could not get around. Diesel engine equipment owners found out the diesel fuel jells when it gets cold. We normally don't get the #1 fuel here since we normally don't get cold enough.
Nice little setup. I think I would have just used an old iPad and be done. Nice inventory on the LR's. Which is the only primer I'm low on but do not have a gun that requires them. Except one but I got the SR primer brass for it. I have a 6mm Barrel blank setting in my shop waiting for me to machine now for over 2 yrs now. I've resisted machining it till LR primers comes more available.
But I’m just watching the weather channel
