I don't think that it is the hording as much as it is we have been at war for 6 years. I think that the suppliers are making more money sending the components to Iraq, Pakistan, Afganistan and now south Korea.
I've had 2 Handi's. A 223 bull that I finally sold because the groups were unacceptable, and a 500 S&W mag. that is for sale now. I've been reloading for almost 40 years and I couldn't get either one to be consistant. I spent alot of money on different bullets, powders, and primers with no results.
I've been loading slugs for years. I have the Lee mold but the Lyman is much better. It cost more but is far worth it. I tried Blue Dot but I always had a lot of unburned powder in the barrel. Unique was alright but 800X was best.
All seem good But I recently read that the 7mm magnum is popular in the flat country. I've taken a lot of woodchucks with 243,270,& 30-06 but rarely over 300 yds.
I've been buying guns for 47 years. during that time there have been Dem and Rep presidents. I have never been denied the purchase of a gun and noone has come to my door demanding that I surrender one. When Obama takes office in January I don't expect anything will be different.
I'm sure that a lot of Monday Morning Quarterbacks will tell you what you

day.

I can't speak for the 45 but I and several other leo's bought the 380's when they first came out. I don't know of anyone that had any problems. Mine fed any ammo but I leaned toward the hard ball because the hollow points didn't expand.
I support our military and fly my flag with pride. I appreciate what they are willing to do when they can't get body armor and the defense secretary that wont let them buy and wear commercial body armor. What I can't support is a president that invaded the third oil richest country on the planet...
I have one too. It's been awhile since I shot it, But 75 grains of Black powder pushed a mini ball that my granddad molded. We had several in the family since it was the first inline available. As time went on some of us went to MMP sabots and 45 cal jacketed bullets and 100 grains. These shot...
With a revolver, try leaving spent rounds in the first and third cylinder. Give it a spin and close it. When the hammer falls on a spent cartridge you may detect an unknown flinch.
