Remington would rather have private 2A ownership ES & Die than pass up the coin;

I wouldn't buy anything that had Remmy's name on it, let alone the cure for cancer from them.
Over 9-pages of Magpul talk at arfcom when it was revealed that Magpul will continue to sell hi-caps to BAN STATE .gov's.
Maybe they needed to raise cash for moving vans to leave CO?
Or buy CO properties to build grow-houses for the weed, man...
Way to support the 2A there Magpul...
Yeah, I had little desire for a Draco until I snagged one to try - a real hoot to shoot.
And a keeper, as I have heard Cent will no longer bother with these. And unless we can get these gun laws beat down, we may not see the Yugo versions anymore as these "AK pistols" take wicked looks to a...
...will remain “in like Flynt” unless proven to be an agent for Hamas.
• Sens Feinswine and Boxer, and Nancy Pelosi are entrenched forever; ditsy ************ns will gladly re-elect their three Macbethian witches even with video proof of a boiling cauldron of dead gay babies.
But for you...
Not going to speculate any return to normalcy - but if anyone thinks "we've won" and the ban won't happen is whistling thru the graveyard.
I have never seen the anti's this foaming mad and determined over getting their ban passed since the 80's - and we didn't have the 'net to communicate...
Gun boards can be amazing...
This same topic discussed elsewhere is filled with rage at any notion that just because you are at the front of the buffet line, you can be free to pig out on all the bacon they put out.
Yet here, there is a reasoned discussion that rationing the finite...
"The theory I've been hearing is that it allows easier bump firing and shooting from the hip........"
Feinswine said pretty much exactly that in her news conf when the bill was announced - to be fired rapidly from the hip.
I guess she had her staff research guns on YooToob..
...you'll get a scolding for "hoarding" - at least from me. But that hoarding will only last until you throw them on gunbrokeya.
I don't know *** came over CMP to allow 12 a year now, when it was once 3 a year and a promise that they were meant for personal use.
They certainly have to...
Make sure the SAFETY is not accidently riding upwards due to recoil. It only takes a rat's eyelash movement to cause issues. I have 3 Romy's that do this...
"I am a definite Garand newbie. Was the original 30-06 Garand modified to shoot the 308 or was the receiver, etc. built from the ground up to shoot 308? "
Modified by the service armories - originally for the most part for use by their marksmanship teams until the M14 was eventually used...
Really wanted diversity - then found myself with several AKs of different origins...
Then a few ARs of different origins, then several Garands.
Can't bear to part with any, although I have been trying for a FTF trade of one of my AKs - SAIGA - for a Mini-14. No luck yet.
I agree on the future - non-hunting - notion. I haven't hunted since I went out with my Dad in the 60's before he died. Neither I nor my grown kids have any desire to go into the woods in nasty weather amongst the trigger-happy; we enjoy hunting paper targets.
That said, I would look for a...
No problem. Some people over there did a couple group buys a while back. I'm not sure if there is another being planned.
Nope, all done some time ago.
Usual suspects are Atlantic, Classic, Centerfire, J&G. Google around.
Unless you absolootly must have a Polski, consider getting a Yugo...
Does it matter if the gas tube is ported or not?
No. Guy on Youtube demo'd an AK shooting without a gas tube and it worked fine as the tube is more of a "guide channel" than a sealed chamber.
Thanks all for the ideas!
So far, I had a chance to handle NEW Ruger Americans, a Tikka, Browning-something, Japanese-made Weatherby and a couple Savages.
Of the above, the one sweetly priced Ruger felt like the bolt was covered in sand, the other Ruger was smooth. The Tikka and Savage...
Seriously;
"Might also want to add a puppy to that Christmas list. Man's best intruder alert system. I mean friend.
Sorry. I have puppy fever lol. Hoping to get a pup for Christmas, to grow up with my daughter. Having an intruder alert system is an added bonus."
Even a pocket dog makes...
My WASR22 - successor to the AKT98. Purpose-built AKM in .22LR.
My keeper is the one in the bottom of the pic, WASR22 in the top of the pic was long sold.
Any suggestions for a right-handed .308 bolt rifle with the following criteria:
Light weight and with a short barrel 18-20" preferred
Slick, finger-tip bolt operation to minimize shooting hand movements/adjustments
Externally removable magazine a bonus but not as important as the...
